Every scheduled annual service at a Hyundai Service Centre includes an additional 12 months roadside support.[H1]. This gives you access to our network of roadside partners across Australia.

We're on the road with you.

We've all done it. Locked the keys in the car, run out of fuel, left the headlights on. If you find yourself in a bind while you're on the road, we can get you up and running, free of charge. Wherever you drive in Australia, Hyundai Roadside Support will be right there with you with a complete range of services, all designed to give you greater peace of mind.



In the event that your vehicle can’t be mobilised it will be towed to the nearest Hyundai Dealer or authorised Hyundai Service Centre.

If you find yourself on the road with a flat tyre, our team will come out and help change it for you to get you on your way.

You will be given enough fuel (not LPG) to get you to the nearest re-fuelling facility or, alternatively, arrange a tow.

Common Questions

How do I activate my complimentary Roadside Support?

Your complimentary roadside assistance will be automatically activated for 12 months from the date the vehicle was first registered. Each time you return your vehicle to an authorised Hyundai Dealer to perform your scheduled maintenance service, the dealership will renew your Hyundai Roadside Assist for 12 months from the date of service. If you continue to service your vehicle with an authorised Hyundai Dealership, you will receive complimentary roadside for up to 10 years.

Is any unused portion of my Roadside Support transferable if I sell/buy a second hand Hyundai?

If you purchase a second hand Hyundai, any unused portion of the complimentary Roadside Support will be transferred to the new owner of the vehicle. It remains with the vehicle.

It is very important that the ownership is changed and any remaining warranty or Hyundai roadside support transferred to you as the new owner.

Ownership can be changed a number of ways, we would recommend registering your details at here.  Alternatively you can complete the change of details form in your service and warranty passport and send the completed form to us.

Is my Hyundai Roadside Support renewed with my Lifetime Service Care?

By having your vehicles scheduled service completed by Northpoint Hyundai, Hyundai Roadside Support is renewed by the dealership for 12 months from the date the service was completed.

Hyundai Roadside Support is provided for up to 10 years.


Can I upgrade my existing Hyundai Roadside Support policy from standard to premium?

If you do not currently have the premium Hyundai roadside support policy you can upgrade for an annual fee via your myHyundai account. Just follow the instructions on the myHyundai site.

    5 Year Warranty
    If the vehicle has been used for private and domestic purposes and is not and has not been previously used for a commercial application, including but not limited to taxi, hire, rental, courier, security, driving school, tour, bus operator or emergency vehicle. Vehicles used at any time for “commercial application”, as defined in the vehicle warranty policy, are excluded. Passenger vehicles that are or have been used for a commercial application are provided with a 5 year/130,000km warranty (whichever occurs first). An iMax that is used or has been used for a commercial application is provided with a 5 year/160,000km warranty (whichever occurs first). An iLoad is provided with a 5 year/160,000km warranty (whichever occurs first) regardless of its usage.     [H1] Included 12 months Roadside Support when you purchase a new Hyundai passenger vehicle (excluding rental buyers). Further Roadside Support extensions are available, each for 12 months from the date of a scheduled maintenance service at a participating authorised Hyundai dealer (unless vehicle is more than 108 months (9 years) from the original new car sale date, in which case entitlement to Roadside Support ends when vehicle reaches 120 months (10 years) from original new car sale date).     Sat Nav Update Plan
    Only applies to new vehicles with factory-fitted satellite navigation. Updates are delivered annually and are included if the vehicle completes a scheduled service at a participating Hyundai dealer. For i30 (PD), i30N (PDeN), IONIQ (AE), Elantra (AD), Veloster (JS), Kona (OS MY19+), Tucson (TL FL), Santa Fe (TM), Venue (QX) and Sonata (DN8). Models with factory-fitted satellite navigation, updates must be undertaken within 10 years of the vehicle’s initial purchase, maximum number of 9 updates. For all other Hyundai’s (excluding i45) updates must be undertaken within 6 years of the vehicle’s initial purchase, maximum number of 5 updates.     Lifetime Service Plan
    For the benefit of Hyundai owners, Hyundai provides online quotes, which specify the maximum price applicable for a vehicle's next scheduled maintenance service at a participating authorised Hyundai dealer and using Hyundai Genuine Parts (where required). Online quotes are available at apply for a stated effective period only and may change after that effective period without notice. Standard scheduled maintenance services are of limited scope.
